Mission

Korean Women Professors Association (KWPA) is a membership-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to education, mentorship, and community service. Our mission is to leverage the expertise and dedication of Korean women professors to promote educational excellence, support underserved communities, and inspire future generations. We will conduct educational workshops and community outreach initiatives to bridge gaps in education, promote social equity, and contribute to educational advancement.

Activities

To accomplish our mission, we engage in a variety of activities, including:

  1. Educational Workshops – KWPA will organize and conduct educational workshops and seminars on various topics, including professional development, leadership skills, and academic research, to empower both current and aspiring educators.
  2. Mentorship Initiatives – KWPA will establish a mentorship network that connects experienced professors with early-career faculty and students from minority backgrounds to provide guidance, support, and career development opportunities to nurture the next generation of scholars and leaders.
  3. Public Lectures and Forums – KWPA will host public lectures and forums on significant social, educational, and cultural issues to foster dialogue and raise awareness about topics that impact the community and society at large.
